Roy Bauer. DD, CSC has been involved in spiritual healing since 1975 when he had his first shamanic experience at Lourdes. He has been teaching shamanism, spiritual healing and holistic medicine since the mid 1980s.

Roy’s shamanic training was with don Eduardo Calderon of Peru who initiated him and also with Michael Harner, Sandra Harner, Sandra Ingerman and others. He is a former member of the international faculty of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and is the founder and current director of The Circle of the Sacred Earth.

Roy’s Reiki line descends from Dr. Usui through Mrs. Takata through Dr. Barbara Weber Ray one of the first group of Reiki Masters in the United States. He is an independent Reiki Master teacher of the traditional Usui System of Natural healing.

Roy teaches classes in shamanism, shamanic spirituality and healing, Reiki (all three degrees), crystal healing, and holistic medicine. His teaching is serious but with humor. A prime goal is the self empowerment of the student.

Roy is based in Melrose, Massachusetts, about 8 miles north of Boston.
